This comfortable and warm place with pleasing décor beckons you instantly. This is one of the few places in Mumbai that celebrates tea. The savoury options on the all-vegetarian menu curated by 'Chef Vicky Ratnani', are far more interesting and healthy, than the usual sandwiches paired with tea. Artfully presented, the Asian-spiced 'Bajra Cakes With Thecha Mayo', are a must- try, as are the 'Asparagus Cashew Sukhem'. If you are still hungry, opt for the 'Paneer Harissa Wrap' or the bowls like 'Black Rice Khichdi' or 'Barley Sotto', which are satiating. The portion sizes are generous and the ingredients used, of top-notch quality resulting in palate-pleasing flavours. The real lure here, undoubtedly, is the vast selection of teas - 'Black', 'Green' and 'White', both strong and light, to suit every taste bud. From a 'Darjeeling Oolong' to a 'White Needle' and 'Secrets Of The East' to a 'Chamomile Mint', you can sip them all. The tea tails and dessert teas are equally exciting. What is more, each dish on the menu is paired with a particular tea. Tea is served on your table with theatrical aplomb by staff who is well-trained. The 'Mango Cheesecake' is disappointing, try the 'Orange Oolong Tea Cake' instead.
