Opened in place of the erstwhile Jewel of India, this casual dining hot spot bears no resemblance to its predecessor in décor or food offerings. Dimly lit, with ample space and an island bar, it exudes a cool and relaxed vibe. The music adds to the lively ambience. The new food menu is fairly limited, albeit with vegetarian and non-vegetarian options in the salads, small plates, grills, street food sections. The bar menu is fairly exhaustive and it is fun to watch the bartenders at work. The 'Coorg style Chicken Dry Fry' is spicy enough to perk up your taste buds. 'Baked Chicken with Soya Mirin' is an even better bet. Most of the dishes look better than they taste as the flavours are strictly ordinary. The 'Chicken Pot Pie' disappoints as it is nowhere close to a pie but of a runny stew consistency instead. The staff although warm needs to be better trained as they are clueless about the menu offerings. The 'Kalkatta Paan Cheesecake' sounds interesting, but sadly most of the desserts listed on the menu are unavailable. Ask the bartender to fix you a drink as per your preference.
