There is no brewery here but plenty of excellent beer at the Gateway Taproom in BKC. They have been brewing their own brand of beers since 2014 and the food at this laid-back almost tavern like taproom is a delight. The yellow chequered tablecloth and fresh yellow flowers give the restaurant a pop of colour amidst their dark wooden interiors and all that natural light from their tall French windows during the day adds to its charm. Think warm plates of ''Shrimp Tortellini', 'Duck Confit', 'Malt Glazed Salmon', 'Caramelized Leek' and 'Gouda Flatbreads' or even an indulgent 'Apple Strudel'. They are just some of the stellar dishes on this European styled menu by genius chef Viraf Patel.
