This outpost of the popular Asian Gastro bar, in its new avatar, as a vibrant Izakaya and Noodle shop-inspired space, is a delight to step into. The bright décor with life-size murals and Asian lamps, happy vibe and bustling activity, add to the charm. The well-crafted menu, offers exciting small plates, dim sums, hearty Ramens, Baos, curries and more. The bar menu is exhaustive and offers ample variety. The grilled sambal chicken bao and the roast duck bao, where spicy fillings, ooze out of the pillowy soft baos, are a treat, you cannot miss. Among small plates, the 'Salmon Lollipop' is inventive and a palate-pleaser. The presentation of the dishes enhances the enticing factor. Vegetarians can indulge in the brie tempura. The 'Spicy Cumin Lamb Biang Biang Noodles' are a meal in itself and will please any carnivore. The creamy and flavourful 'Malaysian Chicken Kapitan' paired with 'Sticky Jasmine Rice' is a great combination. Plenty of dessert options, but the peanut butter mousse scores high. The service staff is well-informed and articulate and the service prompt and efficient.
