By no means is Delhi Darbar a fancy or fine-dining joint, but its reputation has spread far and wide and it is always packed. The restaurant has been around for years and almost nothing has changed. It is extremely popular with the tourist crowd, especially the Arabs, but their butter chicken, bheja fry, nihari and biryanis are worth battling the crowds. Service is swift and they are always happy to feed you. It can get noisy when it is at full capacity, as there are many tables and they are all close to one another. You do not come here for the dining experience; you come here to devour the food.
