The snazzy décor elements compliment the simple but elegant wooden seating arrangement. This spacious place with a generous amount of natural light filtering in is vibrant and warm. The bar at the centre is eye-catching with its colourful artefacts and selection of spirits, wines and beers. The humorously worded bar menu with its quirky offerings is unique. The food menu is varied with global food for every palate. It is the distinctive regional Indian offerings that stand out. Abundant vegetarian options too. The Chicken Mughlai paratha is worth trying. Served with spicy potatoes and a salad, it is reminiscent of the flavours of Bengal but a tad bulky and over-fried. The Oriya mutton curry with hand-made bhakris is a must try. The sweetish onion-based curry is comforting and pairs well with bhakris. Kasundi Chicken Kulfi, Litti Chokha, Bacon wrapped Roast Chicken are not to be missed. English vinglish among desserts, with Gajar Halwa sandwiched between Chocolate brownies, is interesting but not extraordinary. The food is easy-on- the wallet. The service staff is helpful and warm.
