The menu here is clearly the result of a lot of thought and deliberation, with dishes using indigenous produce like alternate grains, no refined flours, artificial flavours and preservatives. Clean food is what this places promises, yet, does not pretend to be a café serving health food. Begin your meal with a fresh tomato, olive oil and sea salt instead of the usual bread served on the table. The bar menu with in-house botanical sodas, no cloyingly sweet synthetic syrups or aerated drinks, is an equally heartening sight. The house cola made with a multitude of spices is refreshing. The 'Pulled Chicken Salad' with a medley of vegetables, is a confluence of flavours and textures. The 'Buckwheat Spaghetti' with roasted pumpkin bolognese can even make a carnivore forget his fetish for meat. The 'Tender Coconut Pad Thai' is an example of innovation as there are no flat noodles here but coconut strips instead, which are a great substitute. Pleasant staff and attentive service, further add to the dining experience.
