This place promises to be one of the most happening tea lounges in Kolkata. Despite tea joints mushrooming all over the city every other day, this place is traditional in a contemporary manner. It has old British-style ambience with a Phoenician décor and a silver service with snacks that include jol khabar (which is the name for local evening snacks) and high tea. The process of ordering involves selecting your pick of tea from tea boxes with almost 32 varieties on display. Some of the exquisite and rare ones are Darjeeling Makaibari and Darjeeling Castleton, while for connoisseurs, there are the even rarer Assam Halmari, Assam Halmari Orthodox and many more.
