This is where Hip Pocket (the city’s best known rock band) has been playing since the summer of 97. The Park Hotel’s legendary pub is dubbed as the Mecca of live music in the city – since its inception in 1994, some of the country’s best known bands such as Parikrama and Indian Ocean have performed here. People come here to listen to live music and drink. The pocket-conscious do the drinking at Oly Pub next door, and hop over to Someplace Else for the music. The interiors done with wooden panels are reminiscent of typical English pubs. The food menu is short but crisp, largely comprising quick bites such as mini parmesan stuffed kulchas and cheese toasties served with a chilli garlic dip, to go with the beer and cocktails.
