The young owner, Sneha Singhi, is a certified pâtisserie chef from Le Cordon Bleu Paris, has interned under Pierre Herme and has had a short stint at Laduree, London. She has invested all that she has learnt in the chocolate-filled éclairs (topped with chocolate and praline crumble), decadent strawberry tart and macaroons on offer at her 17-cover Paris-style boulangerie cum pâtisserie. It is a stylish little place done predominantly in gold, with ornate chandeliers, vintage mirrors and photo frames and pretty wrought iron tables and chairs. A replica of the Eiffel Tower outside is an endearing touch. Other than sweet and savoury confections, there are crépes, pancakes, panini sandwiches (especially popular) and a range of shakes and smoothies. However, this place serves vegetarian fare only (eggetarian actually).
