This place has stuck to its tradition of a good Bengali meal in a classy style. So what if it is a bit hefty on the pocket? Bringing old Kolkata charm to its menu, some of the dishes have been innovated with brilliance. They have an array of preparations in fish such as the bekti gondhoraj, a super success; the first Bengali restaurant in Kolkata to do several innovations in hilsa from the smoked boneless variety to some Bangladeshi flavours. The kosha mangsho with luchi is a great combination and is one of the best in the city. The buffet menu is equally enterprising and has some of the specials such as kancha lanka murgi, traditional dishes such as lau chingri and innovative desserts such as nolen gurer mousse.
