When it comes to spending time in a café with some friends over a good cup of Darjeeling tea, the first name that pops up in the mind with most Kolkatans is Flurys. Over a period of time, with changing décor, the food has remained unchanged in the last decade or so. In the last menu change, they retained all their favourites such as the breakfasts, beans on toast, the classic sandwiches and some of the pastries such as the chocolate cube and vanilla cube. Simple flavours in their omelettes and the creamy garlic and mushroom on toast, the chicken coronation croissant sandwich etc somehow smell and taste wonderful in this legendary restaurant.
