This beautiful restaurant is a reminder of the bygone days of the Zamindar period of Bengal. The restaurant is located within the premise of Raajkutir, a look and feel of a heritage property right where erstwhile Swabhumi stood. You will have to go through all the welcome rituals of Raajkutir and then across the marbled courtyard lined with fountains on one end, to reach this gorgeous restaurant. The food is also a reminder of the past as well as some of the comfort food of Kolkata. 'Prawn Cocktail' has a perfectly balanced sauce and is served on an ice sculpted hand. As you cut into the 'Chicken A la Kiev', the butter oozes out and the chicken is soft and tender. If you are lactose intolerant or vegan, simply suggest to the chef and you can get your meal prepared as per your need. Lunch is an experience but dinner is splendid. Only at dinner do they serve in fine dining style with table linen and candle light etc.
