What I really liked about this pub is the fact that it is not a large space where you will end up getting lost in a melee of souls out to have a good night. There is cloth encases cabanas as well as seating right under the stars. The winters (like when I visited) can be extremely cold but with the coal and electric heaters you are quite sorted (take my word for it, I feel cold when the neighbour sneezes). The bartenders here know how to handle their cocktails well, which is what I would recommend that you go with. Try the 'Corona Margarita' – tequila, Cointreau, with some crushed ice and a choice of orange, mango or strawberry syrups. The real kicker is the 'Penguin XL', with Absolut Citron Vodka, the Triple Sec, white Rum and a dash of Grenadine. Between the 'Sheets' and 'Sex on the Beach' are both done really nicely. And, if you are looking to go alcohol-free, the 'Safe Sex on the Beach' is a nice bet. There are quite a few other mocktails for you to choose from. There are numerous good options on the food part of the menu. While you wait, you will be given olives and salted peanuts to munch on. Pair your drinks with the 'Garlic Crostini Platter' – this is a mix of tomato, jalapeno, mushrooms and red pepper dips with hummus and mixed olives. The Salads are quite nice and you can try the 'Spicy Kimchi Salad', or the 'Chicken Greek Salad'. The 'Mediterranean Tuna' is a nice choice as well. Pizzas are nice here, with the Margarita 2.0, the No-Cheese vegetarian pizza and the Pesto Chicken. You can always go with the 'Indian Route with the Chicken Tikka Pizza'. For something more substantial, the burgers are well put together. Think the 'Harissa Grilled Vegetable Burger' and the 'Garlic Lamb Burger'. There are some nice Asian options on the menu too. If you are sharing, the 'Pan-Asian Platter' is a good one to go with.
