Marrying unique flavours in delightful presentation with quirky elements all around, this rooftop restaurant delivers complete entertainment with good food. Park yourself in a casual seating at the lower or upper deck of the terrace and enjoy the city view as well as the live screening of sports on big TV projector. A bucket of beer ie a big wooden barrel filled with beer bottles and plenty of ice with ‘Chakna Wheel’ (a choice of several munchy items like jhalmuri, masala peanut, etc) and ‘Pitara’ (varieties of papad, parmesan crisps, karari roti strips, etc with six types of dips), make for a perfect start of the meal. The eclectic menu includes signature dishes like ‘Jar Potatoes’ (roasted baby potatoes tossed in harissa sauce), ‘Corn Bhel’ – a mix of corn kernels, tortilla chips and papdi in a brilliant imli chutney; and ‘Karari Roti’- crispy large kadahi shaped roti sprinkled with olive oil, topped with chopped tomato onion. Other favourites with guests here are the Naan Pizza, Old Delhi’s paratheywali gali inspired parathas, Spaghetti Chettinad, Punjabi Penne Makhni and Tandoori Chicken Wings Skewer. I thoroughly enjoyed ‘Vegetable khichra Risotto’ – perfect synergy of khichdi and risotto flavours. ‘Anda Paratha’ is an absolute must-try as it comes hot and crisp in a special way with lip-smacking accompaniments. End on a sweet note with, parle-G cheesecake served with rabri. Wind up your meal with hand beaten homemade style hot coffee. Or go for cold coffee and see how it sparkles when uniquely presented.
