Syn Asian Grill & Bar at Taj Deccan is one of the older restaurants in Hyderabad which had a role in popularizing Pan-Asian, especially Japanese food in the city. The restaurant has a modern décor with a well-stocked bar at one end, and a limited al-fresco seating option too. One of the main attractions of this place is the varieties of sushis that are available here including 'Maki', 'Uramaki', 'Temaki', 'Nigiri' and 'Sashimi'. The teppanyaki dishes here are also worth mentioning, you can choose from 5 different sauces. The 'Yakimono' or grilled or pan-fried Japanese dishes are quite in demand. From the non-Japanese section of the menu, the Vietnamese 'Pho' or the Indonesian 'Mee Soto' broths here are definitely things to try out. 'Saigon Chicken' and 'Butter Garlic Prawns' are good among the starters, whereas 'Lobster in Pepper Garlic Sauce' is the item to indulge from the main courses. You can choose from a range of martinis or margaritas here to go with the food. Service is attentive.
