This is the Hyderabad outlet of the Mumbai based Food link restaurant group, which has four branches of China Bistro in Mumbai. There are 2 huge statues of terracotta warriors guarding the entrance of the restaurant. Inside there is a war horse statue in the main hall. Spread over 2 floors, the outlet has ample conventional seating with a well-stocked bar on the ground floor. The food served is essentially Chinese with some Pan-Asian dishes thrown in. The menu here is quite extensive, starting from dumplings, bao and sushi and extending to grills, main courses and desserts. 'Tea Ceremony' is an interesting cocktail concoction of whisky with tea. From the appetizers, my pick is the 'Cheung Fun' or the 'Rice Noodles Roll', where they have varieties incorporating chicken, prawn, vegetables or cheese in the filling. 'Murtabak', the Burmese 'Khau Suey' and 'Lamb Shank Rendang' are some of the other items which impressed me. The Service is adequate, though it tends to get a bit haywire during the peak hours.
