Unlike the Romans, this swanky establishment nestled in the heart of Calangute behind a famous art gallery is out to conquer via love. "Veni, Vidi, Amavi", a Latin phrase inscribed as its ethos translates to "We came, we saw, we loved". A fine dining concept by Chef Sumera, her menu brings in Global flavours to the fore. The simplistic linear lines and subtle infused lighting arrests one’s senses, the openness interspersed with small patches of grass with the non-intrusive yet captivating string dripping waterfall. The 'Warm Danish Blue Cheese Cloud' and the Marinated Crab meat in panko with farm butter crisps and wasabi dip showcased the Chef’s balance for flavours in zen-like precision beautifully in both preparations, For the mains, do yourself a favour and opt for the 'Beef Wellington'. The 'Pink Roasted Tenderloin with sautéed wild mushrooms in a pastry cup in Port jus' is something you would thank us for recommending later. If meat is not an option try the 'Tiger Prawn Masala' with 'Malabar Parathas'. The spiced flavors entice, it is an option that will captivate. The 'Berry Pavlova' for dessert is a dream with assorted berries and cream. Those with a sweet tooth, this is your Waterloo. A fabulous dining experience indeed.
