The Tangra Project, Commons at DLF Avenue, Saket

Lucky for the gourmands of NCR, acclaimed Chef Vikramjit Roy’s relatively new restaurant - The Tangra Project at DLF Avenue celebrates diverse influences that made the Tangra region in Kolkata a foodie’s paradise. Think homestyle Bengali food, classic Chinese fare, An Anglo Indian cuisine section, and even a Punjabi tandoor section. In Chef Vikramjit Roy’s own words, The Tangra Project is a structured balance between cuisine and nostalgia. Every element of the restaurant brings to the forefront, his love for Calcutta’s vibrant culture and the fact that food is ingrained in the anatomy of the city itself. With this restaurant, he aims to offer a one-of-a-kind experience to the gourmands in Delhi.

Must-haves: Crispy Betki with Oat Flakes, Sour Dough Haleem Toastie, Tom Yum Fish Balls, Rabibarer Mutton, Jackfruit Korma, Chicken Chelo Kebab, Chingri Chop, and Gondhoraj Cheesecake.

Ladurée, Khan Market, Central Delhi

After making its presence felt across the world, the 159-year-old legendary French bakery, Ladurée, opened up its first outpost in India at Delhi’s Khan Market last September. Spread over 1,800 sqft, this pretty outlet occupies three levels and offers different experiences on each level. Known primarily as the Parisian macaron-specialist, the Delhi menu of the brand features classic desserts from Maison Ladurée, including twelve signature macaron flavors, viennoiseries, teacakes, and pastries. Besides their picture-perfect desserts, they also offer a wide array of delicious savories including delish sandwiches, puffs, salads, varied kinds of egg dishes, side nibbles, beverages, and so much more.

Must-haves: Signature Ispahan Rose Macaron, Ladurée Hot Chocolate, Latte Rose,  Vanilla Eclair, Pistachio Cherry Tart, French Toast, Avocado Toast, and Eggs Benedict.

This newly opened, cozy little café, My tea Chapel is a unique QSR outlet that brings to life a 2000-year-old Roman recipe of delectable Pinsa Pizza, a healthier version of its more popular cousin (Pizza)—made with rice and wheat flour, soya, and is prepared at 80% hydration, served alongside their Signature Salads, unique Liege Waffle Wonuts, and an eclectic tea selection from around the world.

CHÔ—Vietnamese Kitchen & Bar, Mehrauli, South Delhi

Located within a 160-year-old haveli, overlooking the Qutub Minar, this brand-new Vietnamese eatery serves up vibrant, punchy flavors from the Far East. The interiors are reminiscent of a classic Vietnamese cottage along with a leafy alfresco dining section. Their stellar menu curates phenomenal Vietnamese fare and unique experimental cocktails, likes of which you can't find anywhere else in the city. There is also a dedicated coffee menu serving concoctions such as egg coffee, and traditional iced Vietnamese coffee.

If you are still not convinced, let us tell you that this specific Ping's outlet brews their beers daily so no stale beer will be making its way to your tables.
