Be it a Parantha, Paranta, flatbread or Indian pancakes, this flaky layered and stuffed goodness is the answer to all the cravings. Divided by cuisines but united by Paranthas, as India stands, each region has its own different version of paranthas. It is a sumptuous and wholesome dish that can be eaten at any point of time; be it breakfast - chomp on some stuffed Aalo Paranthas, lunch where one can have crispy flaky Paranthas with a Subzi or an on-the-go-roll-it-and-eat-it snack. Pt. Babu Ram Devi Dayal Paranthe Wale, Chandi Chowk, Old Delhi

From celebrities and national leaders like former Prime Ministers Jawaharlal Nehru and Lal Bahadur Shastri to the common man of Delhi, this is a haven for parantha lovers. Set in a narrow and nostalgic winding lane off the main street of Chandni Chowk, this eatery has origins that date back to the days of legendary Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. The paranthas here are deep-fried and has a crisp outer layer with a soft and piping hot filling - a pure bliss. They have a huge variety of fillings that go into the paranthas; some of the sumptuous fillings that are worth a shot are Mooli, Besan Aloo Dal Special, Almond, Mint and Green Chilli.
