Mango season is here and with it comes a whole lot of tasty treats prepared by this king of fruits. In Ahmedabad, restaurants offer various preparations made out of mango, both raw and ripe mangoes. Usually, desserts and sweets are made out of mangoes but there are also savoury dishes like raw mango vegetable etc made out of the king of fruits.

In Gujarat, mango ras and freshly cut mango are staples in most households all through the mango season. This is mirrored in Gujarati Thali restaurants where one out of two sweet dishes served is definitely mango ras. Many dessert parlours and bakeries are serving mango cheesecakes and mango cakes, etc. Sweet shops are serving Mango Srikhand, Mango delight and various other mango preparations.

This restaurant is located in Thaltej. It serves Punjabi cuisine. During the summer months, they are having mango festival where they are serving Aam Ki Lassi, Aam Ki Kheer, Aam Ka Panna, Aam Ki Rabdi, etc. This place is open for lunch and dinner. This is a vegetarian restaurant.

This fast food café has 10 different outlets and all of them serve this amazing thick milkshake with small pieces in it, made out of Alphonso mangoes, which is so popular that each outlet sells dozens of this milkshake daily. Choice Snack Bar has outlets in C G Road, its flagship outlets, Prahladnagar, Maninagar, Thaltej, Gurukul, Satellite, Bopal and other places. It is open from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm.

Gwalia Sweets and Fast Food

Located in Navrangpura, Gwalia Sweets and Fast Food has a whole lot of sweets which heroes mango as an ingredient. These include Mango Delight, Green Mango Delight, Mango Alaska, Mango Milange, etc. This place is a vegetarian outlet and it is open from 09:00 am to 11:00 pm.
