Valentine’s Day which celebrates love and romance is round the corner. Couples love to spend this day by going for a romantic Valentine’s Day dinner where they only have each other for company. There are quite a few restaurants in Hyderabad which provide a quiet corner for a candle-lit dinner on Valentine’s Day. Here is a list of my favourites from these which are offering special Valentine’s Day packages.

So The Sky Kitchen, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad

The restaurant in Jubilee Hills has a covered rooftop seating with a grand view of the surrounding area, which makes it ideal for a romantic date. Couples can relish some good Indian, Asian and European food, along with exclusive cocktails that this place is known for. They will have a "couple pass" system for Valentine’s Day, which can be redeemed against food and drinks.

What to order: Grilled Chicken Breast, Spicy Grilled Fish, Broccoli, and Spinach Tikki

Holy Basil, Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel, Banjara Hills

One of the premier Pan Asian restaurants in the city, Holy Basil is known for its authentic Chinese, Japanese and Thai flavours. Its Miso Soup, Teppanyaki, and Peking Duck are all very popular with the diners. For Valentine’s Day, the restaurant will have tables with candlelight and rose décor, sparkling wine, and a special heart-shaped cake.

What to order: A special Pan-Asian set menu with select delicacies from the restaurant will be on offer for Valentine’s Day.

Chama Gaucha, Radisson Hyderabad Hitech City

The rooftop restaurant at Radisson Hitech City, the name of which means “passion of South American cowboys” serves Brazilian and Mexican food along with some exquisite cocktails. The restaurant with a Brazilian Churrascaria offers candlelit tables next to the swimming pool, with live music. Two glasses of wine are also served as part of the special Valentine’s Day package offered by them.

What to order: They have a set menu for Valentine’s Day with some special Brazilian and Mexican dishes.

Encounters, Taj Krishna

The lawns next to the lobby-level Encounters coffee shop in Taj Krishna will host an elaborate buffet spread with live stations, and unlimited select beverages as Valentine’s Day Package. A double heart cake on the table will be part of the package. If you are not comfortable with open-air seating you can also opt for a table inside the restaurant.

What to order: A very special buffet will be served for Valentine’s Day

Poolside, Westin Hyderabad Mindspace

The open-air poolside dining option next to Prego, the Italian restaurant will offer candlelight dinner with choice of a set menu between Indian and Italian, a bottle of sparkling wine, with polaroid photo-opportunity and chocolates as a giveaway for all couples.

What to order: A special set menu (Indian or Italian) for the occasion
