The top five Chinese restaurants in Ahmedabad:

China House, Hyatt Regency

This is by far the best Chinese restaurant in town even though it is quite pricey. China House has its own Chinese chef all the way from China so the food here is very authentic and just awesome. You will get a great fine dining experience here.

Nanjing Restaurant

This standalone restaurant has awesome Chinese food, lots of variety and authentic taste. It has got good, courteous and efficient staff and very good décor and ambience. The pricing is also reasonable. Definitely, a place to visit for good Chinese cuisine.

Mainland China

This is a part of a chain of restaurants which have made a name for themselves in serving quality Chinese cuisine to suit every palate. It just barely missed the second spot since it maintains consistent quality and taste. The décor, ambience and overall dining experience here are very good.

Shihai

This is a large restaurant in Agora Mall in Chandkheda, on the outskirts of the city but it is an impressive place with a huge head of Gautam Buddha installed on one side of the restaurant. It must be about 20 feet high. The food here is very good, served in style with great presentation. This is a vegetarian restaurant and it is very popular.

Wok on Fire

This chain of Chinese restaurants operates in Gujarat only at present and these are vegetarian restaurants. The Wok on Fire at Vijay Cross Roads offers very good authentic Chinese dishes and that too at reasonable rates. It also has great combos which are a must try.
