Kava, Fairfield by Marriott Kolkata - The all-day diner at Fairfield by Marriott Kolkata, Kava, is all set to present the delightful Khao Galli Holi Brunch, with a special place for Indian street food, on 10th March 2020 from 12 PM to 3 PM.
Some of the highlights of the food will be Benares Thandai and Tiranga Chuski, Phuchkas, Beetroot and Peanut Butter Tikki, Caper Wasabi Chutney, Potato Chaat, White Pea Ragda, Tofu Coriander Vadai, Kafir Lime Gunpowder, Baked Paneer Pinwheel, Indian Coriander Pesto, all from live stations at the buffet. Refinery 091 - They call it Swaad ke Gulaal.
It was available from March 6 until March 8th. The section of Swaad ke Gulaal had various dishes like Chaat, Peas and Corn Sheek coated with Bell Pepper, Crispy Paneer toasted in Indonesian Sambal, Pan and Saffron Infused Phirni and Imartis too. For the cocktails, there were Paan Bahar, Jhoom Barabar Jhoom, Somras etc.
Cost - Average price of the items from Swaad ke Gulaal was between INR 300 - INR 400 and the cocktails was between INR 91 and INR 391
Cal 27, Taj Bengal, Kolkata - It is not for one day but for a period between 6th until 10th March where a Holi special menu is on the offering at the all-day dining.
The menu has soups, non-veg and veg starters both Indian and European and main courses too.
Some of the dishes to check out for are - Baked Fish Fricasse, Fish Amritsari, Mutton Rezala, Murg Tikka Lal Mirch, Champaran Mutton Curry etc. Some of the desserts which are on the offerings are - Laung Latika, Rasamali, Kala Jamun, Parwal Ki Mithai, Besan Laddu etc.

The Holi Colada is a fun boozy milk-based cocktail that represents the heart of the Thandai culture which is integral to this festival. This is made with thickened milk infused with Badam Shirin, loaded with White Rum, topped with almond slivers and a touch of saffron to add more colour and fun. As they say, it is a Talli Holi.

In Traffic Gastropub, the place already famous for its innovative cocktails, there are Thandai Shots for INR 89 per shots, started from 7th March onwards, and a special dessert called Yogurt Mousse Chili Rasogolla priced at INR 375 per taxes.
