Royal China is a well crafted one stop destination solely for the fondness of authentic Chinese culinary and beverages located in Forum mall, Elgin, Kolkata. Mingling the essence and perfect taste of Chinese Cuisine, they aim to educate and promote the Gastronomy of Chinese food and culture. The restaurant is carved up in fine dining area and the lounge and bar section with a seating capacity of 98 & 56 respectively. Royal China endeavors to reinvent Chinese cuisine with the usage of fresh ingredients that culminate into one-of-a-kind dining experience. The restaurant takes it diners through the magical lane of Chinese cuisines with the traditional dishes infused with rich portions of bold and natural flavors that fabricates a sensory feast.


The fascinating dining area with bright lamps and gold-framed artwork will create a magical atmosphere and the furniture with a touch of muted grey and brown pastels overall gives a sophisticated impression. The Overall finish of the lounge and bar section is quite expensive and intimate which gives you an emanating sense of warmth. The long bar is adorned by orange bar stools radiating a lavish look and the bar back is drafted in a rose gold and jet black metal finish to display a peasant yet upper-class look to the place. The restaurant is also a very popular destination for all the sports enthusiasts as they can live stream sport events here.


Coming to the menu section at Royal China Kolkata, it is standardized with several options for vegetarians along with the widespread menu for Dine in Plus your most loved Alcoholic and Non-alcoholic beverages too and a whole section of menu is dedicated to dimsums as well.


For the vegetarians, you can get your hands on most famous dimsums like Royal Dimsum Platter, a huge dimsum platter will leave you fully satisfied. Apart from that you can also savour on steamed wonton soya chilli and poached peeking dumpling and from the appetizers do try diced vegetable in fresh lettuce wrap. The mains sections have got some varieties, but we recommend you to try Szechuan style mapo tofu and wok tossed hakka noodles.


Talking about the Non-veg lovers, from the dimsums go head with crabmeat dumpling or lobster and caviar dumplings. And for appetizers you can munch on smoked shredded chicken, bacon wrapped prawns and double roast dry chilli pork. In mains do give a try to prawns with curry leaf, kungpao chicken and steamed whole fish.


Beside the food let’s talk about the beverages here which you will want to swallow down. In mocktails you can sip on black berry punch or royal smoky and in smoothies peach fantasy will leave you refreshed. On top of this, there is an extensive alcohol menu to drink up.



Furthermore, You just cannot conclude your supper without having any delicious desserts. For your sweet tooth cravings, you can choose from several options from the menu, but we recommend you try tiramisu, royal china mud cake with vanilla ice cream, royal caramel salad and Chinese mango pudding.
