A sizeable gem in Mumbai’s dynamic culinary crown, Olive Kitchen & Bar is the flagship restaurant of the Olive Group that has been a crowd favorite ever since it opened its door in 2000. A perennial watering hole of choice of the city’s elite, this gorgeous dining venue is as popular for its undisputable gastronomic excellence as it is for regular celebrity sightings.

A charming hideaway where good food, laughter, culture, and conversation come together in a delightful Mediterranean melting pot, the reason behind the success of this dining destination is the fact that this bar and eatery has always brought its A-game to the table.

Olive is an iconic restaurant in Mumbai that has been around for nearly 18 years, yet it manages to constantly reinvent itself and stay not only relevant but popular. Its all-white Mediterranean-themed decor feels like you are dining on a beach in Greece instead of one of Bandra's many bylanes is a big attraction.

The bigger appeal is the fabulous menu that curates a medley of ingredients that cohesively work together to ensure stunning flavors. While the restaurant is incredibly romantic in the evenings with all the candle lights, pretty décor, and breezy outdoor area, it looks beautiful in the day as well and is the pretty perfect spot for a lazy weekend brunch.

Olive encourages eating clean by using produce from its own herb garden. Those fruits, microgreens, or herbs that land upon the diner’s plate are plucked fresh right before their dish gets ready. Heirloom tomatoes, heritage carrots, wild-grown sorrel, wild green peppercorns, all freshly harvested and served.

Coming to food recommendations, ask for the Olive Signature Baked Brie & Truffle, a rich and velvety preparation heady with musky truffle mascarpone, drizzled with truffle honey and perched on top of house-baked raisin bread, a winner all the way. Their Spicy Goan Chorizo Empanadas, encased in a flaky buttery crust with braised onions paired with a raisin and sundried tomato dip is the perfect ‘Goa-marries-Spain’ dish that speaks volumes about their European culinary flair.

Burrata Salad featuring locally sourced burrata, Corn Velouté, and spiced pumpkin seeds is a must. As is the thin-crust Chorizo & Pepperoni Pizza.

End your meal with Olive’s signature Tiramisu, a rich and indulgent dessert laced with coffee and made to silken perfection!
