There’s no denying the fact that Bandra in Mumbai is home to some of the most exceptional eateries, perhaps in all of India. And adding to its unrivaled reputation of being a café nucleus is the relatively new entrant Donna Deli, a quaint all-day deli that has been wowing patrons with its delish comfort food, craft cocktails, and bespoke coffee ever since it opened its doors in the city.


Bringing to mind the charming little cafes that line the streets of Rome, dining in Donna Deli is indeed a luxe affair. Serving all kinds of #DiningGoals, this chic restaurant is surrounded by actual picket fences, and has a picturesque outdoor seating area complete with striped overhead canopies & shrouded in voluminous greens, giving the whole place the perfect dreamy aesthetic.


As you walk inside, you are greeted with an elegant all-white monochrome theme with quite a few vintage décor accents like engraved mirrors, dainty chandeliers and sconces peppered all around that further elevate the visual appeal and set the tone for a stellar dining experience that is sure to follow.


Drawing inspiration from street joints of Italy, the stellar menu of Donna deli curates a lineup of delicious Italian preparations like authentic Neapolitan-style pizzas, housemade pastas, risotto and so much more.


But Italian isn’t the only cuisine on the menu. The culinary team at Donna Deli has also included Asian preparation, along with quite a few American and European favorites.


The expansive menu of Donna Deli has so much to offer that picking out just a few recommendations from it is a challenge no foodie can accomplish. So, here we are just going to list out all the exquisite dishes we tried and truly, madly, and irrevocably LOVED from Dona Deli’s oh-so-delicious curation!


We highly recommend trying Donna’s Truffle Pizza which comes loaded with mushrooms, red chilies, basil, cream cheese and truffle oil. An extraordinary must-have Neapolitan-style pizza that offers a burst of flavors in every single bite.


Their chef’s special Paprika Ravioli is another decadent choice from their Italian classics. This spinach-coated pasta dish with a feta cheese filling is indeed a wholesome and soul-satisfying preparation we can’t stop thinking about.


If you are more of a brekkie person, then Donna Deli’s luscious brunch menu is just the thing for you. Start your day with their delightful Turkish Eggs featuring a flavor-packed medley of well-done poached eggs on a creamy garlic yogurt base with a chili butter drizzle or opt for a delish Classic Eggs Benny preparation and you are sorted!


If like me, you also need sweeter options in your brekkie, then absolutely have to try their indulgent French Toasts. Our favorite from their plump selection- Red Velvet Strawberry French Toast with a chilled iced coffee on the side.


Asian food fanatics are sure to find solace in Flamin' Hot Salmon Guacamole Roll- A favorite Japanese staple with a fun twist - perfect for any time of the day.


Looking for something filled with flavors and the perfect amount of crispiness? Dive into the Turnip Cakes with burnt chili, golden fried garlic & scallions to know what we’re talking about.


This Classic Aviation Sour could be your next fav highball. A lovely purple hue cocktail tastes as great as it looks: it’s sweet-tart, with a hint of cherry and a floral nuance that comes from maraschino liqueur and crème de violette makes this spirit so intriguing and so good!
