It is The Season For New Eateries To Open Up Just As The Festive Time Starts

Festival time is celebration time. This is the time to eat and have fun with families and friends. It is also the time of the year when many new restaurants open up to take advantage of the cool winter months when eating out is at its peak and when festivals of different religions are celebrated.

This September, entrepreneurs and restaurateurs are taking advantage of the festival time to ensure an explosive opening in Ahmedabad in the competitive restaurant business. Here are five places that are trending this month.

Deva Ju

This beautiful restaurant serves Italian, North Indian and Chinese food. Located right opposite to Ahmedabad Management Association and adjacent to IIM, it is just at the right place for the right crowd. The restaurant is in a beautiful white bungalow with very nice interiors and is a vegetarian place.

Masala Canteen

Located in the Vastrapur Lake area, this newly opened restaurant serves North Indian food in both vegetarian and non-vegetarian variety. Open from noon to 11 pm, the restaurant serves snacks, lunch and dinner. It has cuisines from across India, from Sindhi Gosht to Punjabi Rajma Masala to Langarwali Dal to Kashmiri Gosht Ka Salan.

Nini’s Kitchen

This is a beautifully done up place with trendy interiors giving it a diner look with lots of pictures on its one wall. Nini’s Kitchen, located on Dr Vikram Sarabhai Road, is a café serving healthy fruit juices, yoghurt smoothies, fondues, Pita bread, Shawarma, Paneer Tikkas, Burgers, Pizzas, Pasta and North Indian cuisine.

Raisin

Opened adjacent to the Pride Hotel on Judge’s Bungalows Road, Raisin is a vegetarian cafe which is open from noon to 11 pm in the night. It serves North Indian food, snacks, fast food and quick bites. It has shakes, beverages, wraps, rolls, combos and even Maggi on its menu.

Vake Up

Vake up is a salad and healthy food eatery which has opened up on Prahladnagar Road, where many new business and multinationals are opening up their offices. It serves healthy options of pizzas, burritos and pulaos but its main attraction is the salads, both the pre-made salad and the-make-by-yourself salad where you can pick and choose the vegetable and the dips and dressings.
