Navratris are here and it's time to detox your body with a special Navratri diet. And, who said Navratri food needs to be super oily or way too bland. One can try these healthy recipes which are not just tasty, but are quite healthy too.

1. Paneer Aloo Ke Kebab

Now this one is truly a Kebab lovers delight. All you need for this recipe is Paneer (Cottage Cheese), boiled and mashed potatoes, Vrat Ke Chawal or Kuttu (buckwheat) flour, Coriander and basic spices that you can eat during fasting.

Mix them all together (don't forget to add Sendha Namak) and coat with either Kuttu Ka Atta or powdered Vrat Ke Chawal and shallow fry. For add ons, you can try a Green Chutney made from coriander, pudina and salt, or plain curd or even a basic Kachumbar Salad.

2. Jeera Aloo Ki Tikki

This can be termed as the simplest recipe which hardly takes 5 minutes to make. Mash boiled potatoes and add salt, basic spices, some chilly powder and make flat tikkis.

Now, heat some oil in a pan and roast a small teaspoon of jeera (cumin seeds) till it turns dark. Now, spread these cummin seeds and place the tikkis on it. Fry them till they are brown and crispy. Enjoy with a nice Green Chutney.

3. Dahi Kachumbar

Now, this one is a twist to your regular Kachumbar Salad.

Chop all salad veggies like tomatoes, cucumber, some boiled potatoes and add some thick curd to it. You can add either sugar or salt according to your liking. If you want really thick mix, use hung curd instead. You can also add some chutney to it if you are making it savoury. And, try brown sugar or jaggery powder instead of sugar.

Try these recipes during Navratri and enjoy a feast even as you fast. Happy fasting!

Stay at home and stay healthy!
