The holy month of Ramazan comes to an end and its celebration of Eid Ul Fitr. The entire month is spent in breaking the fast in the evening after the prayers with fruits and home cooked snacks. A walk around Zakaria street in kolkata , Bohri Mahalla in Mumbai or Charminar in Hyderabad in the evenings is all about food and various dishes which get prepared specially during this month. There will be dry and cut fruit section Murabba station to start with. The Keema pao which is always a part of the Friday Ramazan special dinner is tempting and tastefully allows you to defocus from the Haleem. When one steps ahead, the main star of the dinner awaits you. Haleem with Sheermal. The last touch and garnishing happens in front of you and one of the fondest memories of any Ramazan is this deadly combination of Haleem and Sheermal . Other than the regular counters, one can also find Chicken kadak sheek kebab, Yakhni Gosht Shorba , Nihari, Rui Machh Rizala. Desserts form an integral part of the meal and on this night there will be Turkish Tulumba, Lokum, Baklava, Ande ka Halwa.

Though these above places hosting a proper Eid meal but thats not all. One can walk in to Arsalan, Shiraz Golden Inn, Zeeshan, Nizaam, Royal India Hotel and other places to get some of the Iftaari delicacies packed. Like Hyderabad and the area around Charminar , there is always Zakaria street in central Kolkata, Khidderpore in south, Park Circus in central where one can find Eid special delicacies.
