Telangana restaurants had never been much of a seafood lover’s delight, the cuisine of the non-vegetarians here are mainly meat based. However, coastal parts of Andhra Pradesh has a fascination for all kinds of fishes, as well as prawns and crabs. Hyderabad, which was the capital of the undivided state till a few years ago, still has people from all parts of the state, and a few Telugu restaurants in the city traditionally served Peethala (Telugu for crab) dishes. Over time, with Hyderabadis developing a love for other cuisines, you can now get crab dishes from Oriental, Bengali, Goan, Odia and many other cuisines in various restaurants here. Here are some of the restaurants in Hyderabad which are known for their delectable crab dishes:
