It is summer time, and it is time to feast on the king of fruits, the Mango! In Gujarat, it is particularly a time to enjoy Kesar mangoes from Junagadh and Alphonso mangoes from Valsad. Gujaratis begin eating mangoes right from mid - March and they keep going till June end. Gujarat also exports tonnes of mangoes each year. All homes have mangoes during the season daily along with their meals.

So, restaurants do not want to be left behind in the celebration of the mango season. All Gujarati Thali restaurant serve Mango Ras daily in their thalis as one of the sweet items. However, other restaurants are also making their presence felt and are either having a mango festival or having special mango delicacies during the season.

This vegetarian restaurant is having a mango festival to add to the summer spirit of the place. Capsicum has a pool and a lavish buffet. People come here to spend hours splashing in the pool and in-between enjoying the food. It also has a large screen to watch live sports there.

Le Artisan Boulangerie

Located off Sindhu Bhavan Road in Bodakdev, this is a bakery and a patisserie serving awesome pastries and cakes. This bakery is making Mango Cupcakes with edible flowers and Mango Jalapeno Danish for as long as the mango season lasts meaning the whole of the summer.

Silver Dine, Hotel Platinum Residency

This hotel’s vegetarian restaurant has a mango theme festival currently going on. It is located in Anandnagar, on Prahladnagar Road. The hotel is offering a soup to dessert mango menu for dinner. Enjoy it on the open terrace space as you watch live cricket matches of IPL 2018.

7Violettes

This is a patisserie located near Vijay Char Rasta, Navrangpura. It is owned and run by a woman who learnt her skills from Switzerland and she makes awesome pastries and cakes. Their Macrons are so dainty and pretty. Try their Mango Based Pastries and Cakes this mango season. They also have an outlet on Prahladnagar Road.

Theokaphe

This café and bakery is located in Bodakdev.

This mango season they are making Cakes, Pastries and other mango based delicacies. This is a vegetarian café has a small seating space and it is open from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm.
