Soon exams will end or have already ended for school children depending on which board they are studying in and soon they will be creating havoc at home. The holiday season is when children most expect their parents to take them out for picnics, outings and food but there is a huge difference in what children like and adults like as far as eating out is concerned.

This is an all-day joint open from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm and there are nine branches of this restaurant which serves pizzas, garlic bread, soups, salads, main course and desserts. However, it is hugely popular with children as it has an unlimited buffet priced very economically where children can have unlimited quantities of pizza, garlic bread, soups and salads. That is bliss for them. This is a vegetarian place. Lots of children’s birthdays are held in this restaurant almost on a daily basis.

Tiger Bay, Bodakdev, West Ahmedabad

Located in a huge open space on the outskirts of the city, this restaurant is open for the whole day but it is popular in the evenings when the open area which has lots of trees, dugouts, and elevated enclosures make the place very inviting for families. Children have a huge area to move around. It also has live sports screenings, so in IPL season it is very popular. This place serves multi-cuisine food, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food but the non-vegetarian options are limited. It is open from 11:00 am to 01:00 am in the night.

This is a vegetarian restaurant open for both for lunch and dinner. This restaurant is located in Gulmohar Mall in Satellite. It serves North Indian, Rajasthani, Gujarati, Chinese, Italian and Mexican dishes and it is very popular as everyone can find something that they relish and it is also priced economically.

Who does not like burgers, French Fries, coke and ice-creams. All this is available at Burger King and that too at affordable prices. Since Burger King opened its outlets in Ahmedabad, it has been hugely popular with children. It is always crowded with children. There are seven different outlets of Burger King located in Gurukul, Prahladnagar, Navrangpura, Vastrapur, Satellite, Chandkheda and C G Road. It serves both vegetarian and non-vegetarian fast food and it is open from 09:00 am to 11:00 pm.

Fozzie’s Pizzaiolo

The restaurant is a pizza joint as the name suggests and it serves a whole lot of Italian dishes. It is located on the first floor on S G Highway and is open all day from 11.30 am to 11:00 pm. It serves both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. It has awesome pizzas and also very good pastries. Here one can play board games, watch live sports on their various TV screens and also read books. It is popular with children.
