This award-winning restaurant is located on the top floor of Souk Al Bahar, which is across the lagoon from the largest shopping mall — The Dubai Mall. They have picturesque terrace seating that gives an exclusive view of the fountain and the magnificent Burj Khalifa. The talented Italian Chef Leonardo Maltese, with his team, takes you to every corner of Italy through his food. It is a fine dining Italian restaurant with soothing blue and white décor. One can start off with Cappesante Grigliate Con Asparagi a Vapore e Tartufo Nero – fresh scallops lightly grilled served with steamed baby asparagus, black truffle and béarnaise sauce or Caprese Con Pomodori Cuore, which has buffalo mozzarella lined up with cherry tomatoes and fresh basil. Do try the chef’s special Risotto al Tartufo Invernal, risotto cooked al dente and tossed in a cheese wheel topped with aromatic black truffle.
