Once you are suitably dazzled by the vintage photographs, antique tchotchkes and intricate wood detailing, you can feast your eyes on a delirious medley of food inspired by communities living on the Grand Trunk Road (G.T. Road). Since G.T. Road, an ancient marquee route in Asia stretches nearly 2,500 km and crisscrosses four nations, including Bangladesh, India, Pakistan and Afghanistan, there are dishes representing culinary cultures of diverse people and races. Food and beverages are served in glistening bell metal utensils while servers are dressed in Raj-era livery. If you opt for a full-course lunch or dinner buffet, a mind-boggling variety of starters will be despatched to your table post-haste. Non-vegetarian starters to whet your appetite include 'Chicken Burrah Kebab' and 'Mahi Taj' while 'Aananas Khatta Meetha' and 'Achari Khumbh' feature in the vegetarian starter section. The main course menu is equally sprawling with the 'Baluchi Gosht Biriyani' standing out with its falling-off-the-bone meat morsels. At regular intervals, freshly prepared 'Chaats' come to you, much like palate cleansers.
