This attractive pub is particularly cosy, despite its size. It sells itself as being a classic pub with a twist – the turn being that it serves up a selection of creative cocktails, as well as a top selection of beverages. My Apple Brulee was a work of art. A hint of cinnamon lifted the whole heady affair. The Cuban Rose, featuring dark rum, mint leaves, ginger, pomegranate, lemon chunks and soda is a light, zesty, sophisticated drink that demands savouring. These soaked up with a couple of small plates, including pot roast of Spanish chilli chorizo and Tenderloin chilly fry or some Buffalo wings and you are sorted. This is a very high-spirited local spot – seamless lazy Sunday afternoon territory. A welcome addition to Gurgaon’s burgeoning bar scene.
