The shape of the hotel-cum-mall building – round – dictates the design of the restaurants and the exterior wall has full length glass windows. In common with all the other outlets here, Rice too has an open kitchen. Presided over by a chef with several years of experience in the Chinese kitchen, it is wise to choose Chinese food over Thai. Sliced chicken with celery and bamboo shoots would do a restaurant in Beijing proud, while wok-fried assorted mushrooms and clay pot bean curd are favourites for the vegetarians who are regular guests here.
