The soothing Irani music really makes the place feel more authentic. And if you have managed to find Chopaan after zigzagging through the lanes of Lajpat Nagar, you need to know you have come home to a winner. We ate a lot of food – but the 'Mutton Qorma' and the 'Kazan Kebab' are really spectacular. But that 'Uzbeki Pulav' is something that needs to be eaten at the earliest – to know how good it is. Finally, the 'Turkish Baklava' is not to be missed, and if you do not have space for it, take it away. The service is super quick and efficient and there will always be a line waiting outside for the meal.
