Caffe Tonino is a hip hangout where the buzz refuses to die. Every evening sees throngs descending on the Italian restaurant intent on eating their way through the menu. The air inside is redolent of bubbling mozzarella wafting out of the pizza oven even as the sun beats a hasty retreat outside. On hot summer evenings' salads whet your appetites like nothing else and the café has ample options. Evenings also call for moreish finger food and the 'Panino Con Verdure' tops the list of vegetarian sandwiches here. You will find 'Grilled Zucchini', roasted peppers and other tasty morsels trapped between 2 perfectly-toasted artisanal bread in the panino. For a lighter main course, try the 'Pesce Acqua-Pazza', where river sole fillets are cooked in a lemon, tomato and garlic broth. The best seats to grab are those close to the floor-to-ceiling windows lined with lush potted plants.
