Haider Quli is the name of the kucha that you have to look out for. Adarsh is a low-priced hotel with rooms above and a clean, eminently respectable, slightly shabby dining room that serves vegetarian thalis. The food is tasty and surprisingly homely, not being particularly spicy or oily. Their thali has components that range from deliciously freshly set curd to parathas. Service starts at 11 am and runs all throughout the day, ending at 10 pm. Being located at the mouth of the kucha means that Adarsh is several decibels quieter than the cacophonous main road a few feet away.
