The first thing you notice about The Escape in Panchkula is that it is spread over four floors. And, it surely makes an impressive first impression. The microbrewery boasts of modern interiors – it does a fine balancing act between plush and industrial style. Depending on your mood and company, you can choose where to sit. We love the fact that there is outdoor seating as well. The lighting is soft and the four floors have been designed in sync with each other. There are many quirky accents in the decor that will have you clicking photos for sure. As this place has four floors, it is perfect for private parties. The graphics and quotes on the wall are definitely conversation starters. The menu, alas, offers familiar fare but the staff is efficient in making suggestions. If you like fresh brews, this is a good place to start. The bar also runs on the popular "stock exchange system" where the liquor rates keep fluctuating. We tried the ‘Chicken Tikka’ and though the presentation and flavours were good, we found the tikka a tad undercooked. The vegetarian ‘Kebab Samplers’ is a good choice for those skipping meats. The ‘Vegetarian Cigar Rolls’ were fresh and crispy. Overall, The Escape lives up to its name and makes for a fun place to hit on the weekends.
