Most of the hotels housed in Sector 35 boast of small restaurants that mostly cater to in-house guests. The Temptation is tucked away in hotel KC Residency and has a limited number of covers. It seems to be a popular place for afternoon kitty parties as we noticed the day we dined here. It also seems to be popular for small get-togethers. The restaurant boasts of an Oriental colour code with red and grey being the dominating hues. The seating includes sofas as well as straight-back chairs. There is a bar on one side and the glass windows on the other side give a view of the outdoor corridors. The blinds are pulled down to offer just a sneak peek and let the light filter in. The menu walks a predictable path – it throws in all the popular favourites. There is everything from 'Murg Tandoori' to 'Veg Manchurian', 'Mutton Rogan Josh' to 'Kalmi Kebab', 'Honey Chilli Cauliflower' to 'Dal Bukhara'...you get the drift. The 'Tomato Dhania Shorba' we tried was too sweet and seemed pulled straight out of a can. The 'Ajwaini Mahi Tikka' was well done and the fish was cooked perfectly. The 'Mutton Rogan Josh', which came highly recommended, failed to impress us. Instead of being flavoursome, it was sweet. The dessert options are fairly limited but the hot 'Gulab Jamun' is worth-a-bite.
