Playground, the cafe-style restaurant in Sector 26, surely lives up to its name. One of the most photographed restaurants in the city, the interiors are playful and have an unmistakable fun vibe. No surprise, it runs to a full house on most days. You have to actually walk through an alley filled with bottles on both sides to make your way into the main dining area. The quirky wall accents and fun quotes like "Please maintain noise" are good conversation starters. The main area is quite large and includes seating at multiple levels. The menu at Playground goes well with its chilled-out ambience. It is a mix of popular favourites and also brings street food specials. They also have combo meals for different days of the week including an All-day breakfast section. The wood-fired oven dishes a good selection of Pizzas and Nanzas. The ‘Grilled Chicken’ we tried was well done. The pre-plated meals like ‘Thai Basil Tofu’ and ‘Patiala Shahi Meat’ are perfect for two hungry diners. The service is very efficient and the servers are quick to offer a recommendation.
