INSIDER TIPS

  • Do try the 'Galouti Dragon Rolls' here with bacon bits and some honey glazed ham. The pork lover in you will be well satisfied
  • The 'Terminus XXL' is for those of who want to hear fire engines clanging on the spice meter – it comes with crispy chilli chicken, wasabi cheddar and a bhut jolokia dip
  • The 'Naram Gosht Ke Boti' is what all good things are made of and are a great partner to your beer

A pub frequented by the business crowd in the area, it is well known for its decently priced, good drinks and food. So let us start with the fact that you can unwind around the bar, at the pool table, overlook the pool or perhaps even croon away on Karaoke nights. Some of the good cocktails to look out for are the Caipiroska, from among the classics. Pair this with some 'Vada Bao' – a take on the vada pao where steamed baos are used along with some 'Garlic Thecha'. The 'Metro' is another great cocktail with vodka, tequila, gin and some blue curacao. The 'Mafia’s Mule with Jager', whiskey and ginger is also a good pick. You may also want to try my personal favourite, the 'Brain Haemorrhage' when here – it is a 'Peach Schnapps Shooter with Bailey’s' that I love. Now coming to the food, 'Gongura Buffalo Wings' is quite an interesting rendition of the wings as are the 'Fish Fingers' here that are done with Amchur fries and Kasundi. For the vegetarians, the 'Achari Paneer Kachori' and the 'Dadar Chit Chat', with some sweet and sour bhel, channa and masala poha is a good order. Moving on to the more substantial stuff, try the 'BFB' – Tenderloin fry with steamed baos and a red dip. The 'Kheem Ghotala Toast' is a lovely partner to your beer. The 'Chatpata Chowpatty Toasties' are spicier than they are chatpata. If you have the tummy real estate to consider it, then the 'Caramelized Pork' is a substantial good bet. Whether you are dining with a friend or have a good appetite going for yourself, then the 'Dabbas' and 'Bentos' in Asian or Indian are a good deal on the pocket and stomach. Desserts though simple hit the spot well. Try the 'Rasmalai Brulee' or the 'Rose Petal Kulfi' or the 'Homemade Malai Wale Icecreams in Kaffir lime, gulkand, tender coconut and filter coffee' are great.
