Bangalore Centric is not really new rather it is revamped to its current avatar and now sports completely new interiors and a whole new set up on the culinary front. They have got things right – from the lovely ambience that is indoor, outdoor and al – fresco to some great food to choose from. Of course, buffets are the order the day here and the breakfast one does really well. The range of choices in the egg section alone is enticing enough to spend a lot of time and tummy space there. There are of course the regular dosas, parathas, cereal and pancake affairs as well. Lunch and dinner buffets apart, if you are looking at the a la carte menu, do take a look at some of the specials like the 'Poached Duck Egg' with creamy spinach and pancetta. I love a good Seafood Linguine and the 'Lobster' version here does not disappoint. If Asian is the way you would like to go, then the 'Tossed Rofu with Mushrooms' and 'Bamboo Shoots' is a good option. The 'Singaporean style Laksa' is very soothing to the senses and creamy. You could also go with dishes that ring closer to home like the 'Bisi Bele Bath' or the 'Ragi Dosa' with duck and tomato chutney. Those looking for Jain, Vegan and gluten-free food options will find that they have good choices to go with here. For desserts, the 'Creamy Banana', 'Strawberry Caramel' ice cream is brilliant as the 'Rasmalai Cheesecake' will give a proper sugar high.
