A restaurant that has been around for ages, it is one that is nestled deep inside a residential area and can be easy to miss. With nothing much of an ambience to speak of, here is a place that will more than makeup for it when it comes to the food. The 'Peking Cantonese Chicken' is a good way to start as are the 'Chicken and Prawn steamed Wontons'. I have always liked the 'Crackling Spinach Chicken' as well as the substantial 'Dragon Rolls in Chicken and Prawn'. If you prefer a toned down version, the 'Spring Rolls' are a good choice, though they can be a bit greasy. One of the dishes that the chef here is really proud of is the 'Chicken Kaiche'. They serve up a large range of soups and the 'Spicy Jet Soup' as well as the 'Lemon Coriander Soup' are good to try. You could go with the 'Manchow Soup' and the 'Button Mushroom Soup' if you are looking for something more substantial. For the mains, for meat eaters, you have the 'Chicken in Taipei Sauce', the 'Chicken with Mushroom and Bamboo shoots' as well as the 'Sliced Chicken in Chilli Bean Sauce' that are great. The 'Roasted Chilli Lamb' is good too. Vegetarians have a lot to choose from – from the popular 'Golden Fried Babycorn' to the steamed or fried wontons and momos as well as the 'Kong Po Potato' is what you will want to order. Service and food quality can be a little sketchy at times.
