The story goes that a carpenter ended up having one too many, while on the job and hence the pub ended up with suspended chairs being part of the décor. A lovely tale that adds to the quirkiness of the place. But of course, it is the food and the décor that we all keep going back for. You can not have what the carpenter did, but you should certainly try something from the signature cocktails – I would go with the 'Frothy Marge' – Tequila shaken with some triple sec and orange foam; spiced rum and tequila make up the Spice Poof and if you are a Sulaimani fan like me, then the 'Sulaimani with tea and tequila' is just the thing. Of course, the whole shebang in terms of regular bar offerings is definitely yours for the taking. Do not you just love a place that does the basics so well? The 'Corn on the Cob' with butter, onion, garlic and crushed black peppercorns is one to try and the 'Mojito Congress Peanuts' too. If you want something truly different, the 'Puliogare Arancini' is definitely one to experiment with. Among the small plates, the 'Prawn Ghee Roast', 'Asian Chicken Nuggets' and even the 'Chicken Chaat' are quite interesting. The 'Tenderloin Burger' should find its way to your table. As also the 'Vietnamese Pork Curry'. Desserts are a quiet affair and you will need to check on what the specials for the day are.
