Rural Blues is a popular spot on Sarjapur Road and has a picturesque blue and white décor reminiscent of a Greek or Mediterranean island, with a pond and flowers to complete the scene. There are multiple sections for seating, indoors and outdoors, including a newly opened section with a first-floor al-fresco area that is perfect for dates or a quieter evening. In terms of food and drink offerings, you will be spoilt for choice. The place gets packed with corporate groups and families in the evenings, so it is worth making a reservation. Service is polite but tends to be quite slow. Aside from the usual bar menu, they also have a special cocktails section, from which the 'O’Romarin', a gin-based drink, and the tequila-based Torturous Affection make for interesting choices. Craft beer lovers will be pleased to see Geist on tap. From the food menu, definitely opt for a pizza, as the establishment has a wood-fired oven and turns out good pizzas. The 'Chicken Yakitori' is done well, and the 'Chilli Broccoli' and 'Trio of Hummus' are good choices for vegetarians. 'Beef Bulgogi' and any of the duck dishes are must orders for those who are open to experimenting. If it is a biryani that you want, the 'Kolkata Kacche Gosht Biryani' is rather good. End with the 'Trio of Crème Brulee'.
