What works for MoMo Café is that it has no ambitions of being experimental, and that is a relief. Given that the rains are here, start with the 'Tuscan Minestrone Soup'. Loaded with veggies and some pasta, the tomato broth with the fragrance of tomato is sour and spicy and calms the nerves down. Do not ask how. The flavours are familiar, and well put together. There is 'Fish and Chips' on the menu, but it comes with basa. And I really do not know why. It is almost as if all the other fish in the world that could be fried to make this dish have been deemed extinct. I tried the 'Saffron Risotto', and was it a bit too salted? Possibly. If you are doing breakfast here with family, do not miss the kids’ menu.
