Mikusu is a lovely restaurant and offers you a great view of the kitchen and some nice dim-lit ambience. The chefs here really know their food and work on getting you dishes that you may not really have seen around. Start your meal with 'Ebi Yaki' – grilled prawns with some Ninniku butter. As a starter, paired with some 'Chandon', this can be a really good way to start the meal. The restaurant sources some really good quality fish and that is why another must have is the 'Salmon Carpaccio' with Yuzu soy and hot oil. The slices of salmon are delicate and the tang from the yuzu soy gets an amazing fillip with a drizzle of hot oil. For the vegetarians, an equivalent would be the 'Tofu Carpaccio with Pickled Veggies' on the side. The 'Barbecue Chicken Dimsum', as well as the 'Seafood Sui Mai', are really nice. With a touch of roe on the sui mai, you may not want to stop at one basketful. You could also try the 'Rock Corn Tempura' and 'Tofu Skewers' and definitely try some of the 'Wasabi Prawns' and the 'Chicken Yakitori' – this last one comes with lightly charred scallion stem which adds to it so well. The sushi and sashimi come in platters based on the number of people at the table. There are all the popular choices, 'Nigiri' and 'Maki', rolled really well. The 'Chicken Ramen' created in the Shoyu style is a clear broth and makes for a light meal, especially if paired with a small round of sushi. Among the mains, the 'Garlic Sticky Rice' and the 'Sichuan Chicken'.
